Refine your requirements

Tell us how you want to buy, what you can fund and which creative format you need.

Compare native ad networks

A native ad network distributes your ads across publisher inventory. A spy tool helps you research ads. Choose the buying platform first, then decide whether a research tool would save work on that network.

The four candidates below offer advertiser-facing native formats. Their reach figures, payment routes and service models use different definitions, so compare them against your campaign requirements.

Check the intended country and available inventory in the selected account. Global platform coverage describes scale; it does not tell you how much suitable traffic your specific offer will receive.

Your shortlist

Use the filters to identify routes worth checking. Funding is compared with published initial-funding conditions where available; campaign budget and service terms still belong to the specific route.

Your routes to review will appear here.

Then ask three practical questions: is the format available through this route, can I fund the intended test, and can I measure the result on my site? Choose candidates that answer all three before comparing creative ideas.

Separate funding from campaign budget

Funding adds money to an account. Daily budget sets a campaign's spending plan. Suggested test funding gives room for learning. Billing increments control card-charge timing. Keep these as separate fields when comparing options.

Network / routeFunding conditionCampaign budget conditionPlanning guidance
Taboola / RealizeAccount-specific billing and funding arrangement.Confirm the campaign settings available in your account.Official recommendation: 10× CPA goal or at least $50 per campaign per day.
Outbrain / AmplifyThreshold billing; confirm funding conditions during account setup.Public help gives $600 minimum monthly budget and a $20/day equivalent for dated campaign budgets.Use the budget type shown in Amplify; TAM follows its own account terms.
RevContent registration$100 initial funding; card charged after creative approval.$50/day in the current registration field and campaign guide.Keep initial funding separate from the planned duration.
MGID Ads$100 minimum deposit.$50 minimum daily or overall limit when using By budget.$650 suggested initial deposit; self-registered CPA Tune access requires at least $650 account balance.

For example, MGID's $100 deposit does not mean $100 per day. Its $650 recommendation also has a separate feature condition: that balance unlocks CPA Tune for self-registered advertisers.

For Taboola and Outbrain, review the total spending controls as well as the daily plan. Both describe delivery that can exceed the daily amount under certain pacing conditions. Set a campaign allocation that matches your test period and review the chosen account's payment fees.

Choose by buying route and workflow

Taboola / Realize: prepare a measurable native test

Realize is Taboola's current advertising platform. The native workflow supports image ads, Motion Ads and carousel. A useful starting point is one offer, one market and one primary conversion, with several creative angles.

The public signup route gets you into account creation. Billing options differ: automatic card billing, prepayment and monthly invoices have separate conditions. If you want a guided preparation sequence, our Taboola launch guide includes a creative checker and a downloadable brief.

Outbrain / Teads: decide between ODR and TAM

Outbrain Direct Response remains an advertiser-facing product under Teads. Its homepage sends Get Started to the Amplify account-creation route, while its buying-options page also supports programmatic access.

Teads markets Teads Ad Manager to growing brands through a separate contact route. Decide which route matches your needs before using a specification or budget number. The Outbrain Standard Native specification page labels that format Managed / Programmatic; those rules should be checked against your actual buying route.

RevContent: work from native units to placement decisions

RevContent offers a direct registration flow that includes landing-page URLs, targeting, campaign budget and initial funding. Its campaign guide supports CPC and vCPM buying and separates creative setup from conversion tracking.

Consider the route when native recommendation units fit the offer and you want to review results at the placement level. Check video availability for the intended supply separately. The current registration form gives you a practical funding reference: $100 initially and a $50 daily campaign setting.

MGID Ads: separate the basic test from CPA Tune

Choose Advertiser when signing up for MGID. The dashboard supports country targeting and multiple ways to pass conversion results back to the platform.

The basic deposit condition is $100. If you plan to use CPA Tune, include the $650 account-balance condition in your preparation and set up an active conversion goal. Its automated bidding still uses CPC billing, so evaluate the campaign by the outcome you need rather than assuming a CPA-based payment model.

Check the format, page and conversion path

Before uploading, use the specification for the exact format and route. Static image, motion, app-install and carousel requirements differ. Check file type, dimensions, weight, headline length and how the subject survives cropping.

Review the landing page alongside the creative. Keep the offer and brand clear, make the next action easy to find, and confirm that the selected format and industry fit the platform's current advertising requirements.

Tracking should capture the action you are trying to buy. All four candidates provide official conversion documentation:

  • Realize: Pixel, GTM, commerce integrations and S2S.
  • Outbrain: conversion pixel, with additional GTM and S2S guides in its help center.
  • RevContent: pixel or S2S; its guides specify avoiding duplicate reporting from both methods.
  • MGID: JS Pixel, GTM, postback, webhook and native integrations.

Complete a test conversion, inspect the event, and confirm that destination URLs preserve tracking parameters. Keep this check separate from comparing the campaign's actual acquisition cost.

Take your plan forward

Shortlist one or two routes, record the format and funding conditions, then prepare the landing page and primary conversion. Create a campaign plan before adding more networks.

Read the launch guide

Work through account preparation, creative and measurement for your chosen route.

Start with Taboola →

Prepare your campaign brief

Bring the goal, market, landing page, conversion event and budget into one plan.

Generate your brief →

Launch, measure, iterate

Test the intended event, launch the campaign, then use creative and placement results to plan the next test.

For Taboola, generate your launch brief. If your repeated task is researching ads or landing pages on the chosen network, compare native ad spy tools against that coverage. Keep the network decision and tool purchase connected to the same job.

Common questions when comparing networks

Which network is cheapest to test?

Compare the account's funding condition, campaign budget type, test duration and any payment fees. A small deposit by itself does not describe the full cost of a useful test.

Should I choose by the biggest audience number?

Choose by relevant country, available format and measurable outcomes first. Each platform defines its audience and inventory figures differently.

Are Outbrain and Teads two separate candidates?

They are related. Compare the ODR / Amplify route with the Teads TAM route within the same decision, using the conditions for the product you will actually buy.
